The handsome chromolithographs on this page are by J. W. Ludlow and cut from Lewis R. Wright's Book of Poultry, published by Cassell, Peter, and Galpin, circa 1880 (issued in installments in the 1870s). The plates are original. Most are clean with very mild age toning in the margins. Some show wear and light soiling in the margins--the image areas are problem free.
