Fungi of New York (2) ![]() The attractive chromolithographs below are cut from the second edition of the Charles H. Peck's (1833-1917) Annual Report of the State Botanist for 1895, published in Albany by the University of the State of New York, 1897. The plates, drawn by Peck, are on rather thin paper but are in excellent condition. Charles Horton Peck was an eminent American mycologist. Appointed State Botanist of New York in 1868, Peck described more than 2,700 new species and varieties of North American fungi. Size: 9 x 11.75 inches |
