The chromolithographs below are cut from the first edition of Cassell's classic Pigeon Book, edited by Lewis Wright and published by Cassell, Petter,& Galpin (1874) . The plates are by J. W. Ludlow . The plates are generally in very good or excellent condition, but, as with virtually all plates from this publication, there is often some foxing or discoloration in the margins. The image areas, however, are clean and problem-free.
