The Keulemans' chromolithographs on this page are cut from Ibis, the journal of the British Ornithologists' Union. "The oldest . . . rarest and most beautifully illustrated ornithological journal ever published"--Dieter Schierenberg. Lithography is by Mintern Brothers and by Hanhart. The plates from the 1870s (labelled below as "KEUL-IB7x. . . ") have age toning which some may find objectionable. Younger plates have a brighter background.
