Henrik  GrØnvold (2)

These chromolithographs by famed zoological artist Henrik Gronvold (1858-1940) are cut from Arthur G. Butler's Birds of Great Britain and Ireland, published by Caxton, London, 1908.  For the most part, the plates are on very white paper with just a little toning in the margins.   Each plate has a small, light library stamp on the reverse side.

  Size: 9 x 11.75 inches
