 The chromolithographs below are cut from Dr. Barton Warren Evermann's (1853-1932) classic Reports on the Investigations in Porto Rico of the U.S. Fish Commission Steamer Fish Hawk in 1899, published in Washington, DC, 1900. The plates, printed by Julius Bien, are by Charles Bradford Hudson and A. H. Baldwin.  These plates are clean.  They have very light age toning with slightly heavier toning around the edges.  There may be thread holes along the top edge where the prints were bound.
