The color lithographs below are cut from Thomas Rymer Jones' (1810-80) translation of Brehm (q.v.) and published as Cassell's Book of Birds by Cassell, Petter, and Galpin in London and New York.  The work is undated but thought to have been published circa 1869.  The illustration in this set are unusually clean and free of foxing.
